Gender-Affirming Voice Evaluation and Therapy
1 on 1

50 minute session

This is for those who want to shift their voice to better align with their individual gender. Services are personalized with the understanding that there is not one way to sound *insert gender*. My goal is to help you learn about your voice and all the ways you can shift it, as well as help you identify what aspects are important to you, all while maintaining a healthy vocal function. Generally people end up taking 6-12 sessions however, there is no specific time commitment, it's all up to you and tailored to your needs! Whether you want a quick intro for a session or 2 or want to extend therapy long-term, I am happy to assist. I also am happy to provide letters of support for gender-affirming voice surgeries. For financial accommodations please see our group therapy service which is offered at low cost and sliding scale.

*Please note, at this time I do not offer singing voice coaching but am happy to recommend some excellent providers.

Gender-Affirming Vocal Surgery:
Voice Rehab Therapy

25 minute session

This service is meant for those who have undergone recent vocal surgeries to better align gender and voice (within 6 months post-op). Sessions will be shorter in duration than typical voice therapy with a focus on easing into your new voice in a healthy, gentle manner.

*Please note voice surgery is not the best option for everyone and majority of folks who engage in voice therapy do not pursue this option however, it can be a wonderful and affirming surgery, of which there is an important healing period.

Gender-Affirming Voice: 8-Week Group Class

Meets weekly for 1 hour per week via Zoom

Are you interested in modifying your voice but aren't sure where to start? Has finding a voice coach or SLP that has experience with trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals been difficult and/or too expensive? This group may be for you!

The goal of this group is to provide an affordable and accessible avenue to help you learn about your instrument (your voice), how to change or modify it by trying new things, and give you the tools to find a voice and communication style that feels like more of a fit for you based on your unique goals. Group format provides a safe space to learn and practice together with opportunities for collaboration and structured feedback as desired.
